Your videos
Videos you select are processed entirely in your browser on your own device. They are not uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we cannot see them. Closing or reloading the page discards the working data.
Information we collect
We do not require an account and do not ask for personal information. We do not run our own analytics or tracking scripts at this time.
The Site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the Site and keep it secure. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
Local storage and cookies
The Site itself does not set cookies. It stores one small preference in your browser’s local storage (your chosen language) so it can stop suggesting a language switch. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Third-party requests
If your browser cannot use its built-in video codecs, the Site may load a compatibility engine (ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly) from the jsDelivr content delivery network. This request reveals your IP address and browser details to jsDelivr, but never your video. Some browsers may also load an on-demand module from our own site: a small audio encoder, or a decoder that opens HEIC photos from iPhones. Those modules never receive anything from you except the file you chose, and they run inside your browser.
Advertising
The Site may show advertising from Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user’s visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to the Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at https://www.aboutads.info. For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where required by law, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will ask for your consent through a consent message before personalized ads are shown.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold personal data about you, there is usually nothing to access or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, or you have a privacy question, contact us and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated policy.
